The Wander School Assembly Program.
A journey that captivates, motivates, inspires, empowers, and educates your students!
Join me as my journey, Wander: A Memoir of Letting go and Walking 2,000 Miles to a Meaningful Life, becomes a source of inspiration for today’s youth. Through captivating stories, breathtaking photos, and meaningful lessons, we’ll go on a journey of overcoming mental health challenges, self-discovery and personal growth. My assemblies are tailored to different age groups, ensuring that each audience receives a message that resonates with them.
OVER THE LAST 7 YEARS OF DELIVERING MOTIVATIONAL PRESENTATIONS, I’VE INFLUENCED THOUSANDS OF LIVE AUDIENCE MEMBERS USING MY TRAIL STORIES TO TEACH MINDFULNESS PRINCIPLES.
-
Youth mental health is more prevalent today than ever before, but I believe every child is just one story away from finding hope and the courage to follow their heart. That’s the power of storytelling, and why I’m so deeply committed to sharing my journey to open young hearts and minds to the transformative power of mindfulness, nature, and charting a personal course.
The personal development strategies I share aren't just ideas thought up by some random guy who decided to go on a months-long hike growing a rather unappealing beard; every principle and concept I teach are research-backed mental health strategies. Beyond my personal experiences, I hold certifications as a Mindfulness Teacher, Nature & Forest Therapy Guide (forest bathing), Yoga Instructor, and Life Coach.
My speaking approach instantly engages students. It's not a traditional lecture but a practical and positive message delivered with sincerity and humor.

Client Testimonial Spotlight
“From the minute the students laid their eyes on Ryan’s well-worn hiking boots and small pop-up tent, they were curious. After Ryan began to tell his inspirational story of personal enlightenment and road to well-being, their curiosity quickly turned to full engagement. The content, organization, and delivery were of substance, and Ryan guided the students through his reflective 2,000-mile journey to positive mental health in a very meaningful way. The students had opportunities to explore ways to overcome self-imposed limitations to happiness via conversation, questions, the impact of nature, and effective meditative practices. Everyone truly left Ryan’s presentation understanding and embracing the motto of HYOH—Hike Your Own Hike.”
