A real adventure story. A message students actually remember.

Story-driven assemblies and workshops that help students walk their path with more clarity, courage, and connection.

A 2,000+ mile Appalachian Trail journey → practical tools for stress, comparison, and the pressure to fit in.

This isn’t a pep rally. It’s a journey.

I’ve heard it from principals, counselors, and teachers more than once: “Most speakers come in loud. The kids get hyped. And then it fades.”

That’s not what I do (in other words, I’m not the Tony Robbins-type).

My programs are built like a story you step into. The adventure hooks them, but what holds their attention is something quieter: honesty, realness, and moments that invite them to actually reflect.

It’s mindfulness through adventure storytelling, with presence as the foundation, delivered in a way students can feel.

The Signature Program:

School Assemblies

My flagship assembly is story-driven and deeply engaging, without needing to be loud. Tailored by grade band, from elementary curiosity, to middle school pressure, to high school identity.

I take students on a 2,000+ mile journey on the Appalachian Trail and weave in moments that naturally open the door to reflection. The lessons land because they’re lived, not preached.

Students walk away with language for what’s happening inside them, and tools they can return to when they feel overwhelmed, caught in comparison, or pulled off their path.

Why It Works

Students today are carrying a lot. Stress. comparison. Pressure to fit in. It’s not always obvious on the outside, but they’re feeling it.

Mindfulness, the way I teach it, isn’t about sitting perfectly still or “clearing your mind.” It’s about learning how to come back to yourself when life gets loud. It’s practical, doable, and students can use it the same day.

That’s the bridge between the trail story and their life: attention, awareness, the ability to pause, and the courage to choose who they want to be.

  • My programs are:

    • Real (students can tell immediately)

    • Down-to-earth (no lectures, no gimmicks, mindfulness without the woo-woo)

    • Engaging (story, humor, reflection, and interaction)

    • Aligned with SEL outcomes (self-awareness, resilience, empathy, connection)

I speak to students, not at them, and I meet them where they are.

    • Audience: K–12 (tailored by grade band)

    • Format: Assemblies, workshops, or combination packages

    • Length: 30–60 minutes for assemblies; workshops vary

    • Delivery: In-person (preferred) + virtual options

    • Booking: Single events or series packages

  • Assemblies are the foundation. Workshops and add-ons bring the message to life.

Workshops are where we slow it down and practice. They give students (and staff) space to try the tools, talk about what’s real for them, and build habits they can actually carry forward.

    Workshop focus areas:

    • Nature-based mindfulness (indoors or outdoors)

    • Confidence & comparison

    • Resilience & emotional regulation

    • Freshman Orientation / Senior Send-Off

    • Middle-to-High School Transition Programs

    • Family & Community Engagement Events

    • Staff & Professional Development

Creating moments that move people

My TEDx talk is the quieter, reflective version, filmed in an intimate TEDx Salon setting. The School Assembly Demo Reel shows the more energetic, interactive side, built for students, humor, and real in-the-room connection. Two vibes. Same message.
